It's gotta be the Hemi. But as the only one with a 5.9 with the 3rd Gen bodyto commentso far...I bet I can giveone a run for its money with mine. I know I could take most 4.7s pre-08. I really need a gear change to get what I want out of mine.

Asking a question like that is like trying to slap the fangs out of a rattler's mouth; you know you can do it, but it's gonna hurt like hell when you do... that said, I'm proud to own the 5.9, it does what I expect it to do & more, I mean she's a TRUCK....

p.s. sometimes my wife gets jealous when I rub the Ram.....

a 5.9 would also go four wheeling places where a hemi could not, a hemi is built for more top end, where the 5.9 is the low end
Ridiculous
So your saying that the difference is so large that there would actually be places a 5.9 could wheel that a 5.7 could not?
Come on man.
Your splitting hairs pretty bad.

Dude, are you serious? I would of lvoed to be your salesman. The difference in motor, has absolutely no bearing on that. They are the same truck, with V8's, they will be identical in off road performance.

.......

I have had both, and like my hemi better, lower torque, but still plenty. Higher HP, and much better economy.

tell her if she rubbed it like a good wife is supposed to...you wouldn't have to.
