Default Is the '04 HEMI "un-moddable"?

I've read where you can't mod the '04 HEMIs because of the ECU. Is this still true? It's been well over a year since I looked at modding this truck. At the time even a simple catback exhaust and intake would do nothing for the '04's. Que no?

intake, exhaust, gear, programmer, N20....whatever...It responds quite well..

I keep hearing different stories specifically about the'04's. How the ECU for that particular year will change your fuel and air when you add on a mod bringing it back to stock.
