Default Tonneau Covers?

Looking to buy a new Tonneau cover for my '04, soft style - the not the hard style. What do you have, how do you like it and how much was it? Also I'm looking to protect my bed rails, I currently have a spray-in bed liner and am thinking of either getting ABS caps or haveing the spray-in liner continued over the rail... Would this prevent the Tonneu cover from sealing? Any Suggestions?

As to a spray in bedliner, I'd go ahead and have it sprayed over the bed rails. I've talked to two people recently whose only regret concerning their spray in liner was that they didn't have the bed rails sprayed also. They both have ABS bed rail caps, and one has had to replace the caps (they've cracked under the toolbox), while the other plans to go back and have the rails sprayed.

I just purchased my truck about three weeks ago, and plan to have a bedliner sprayed over the rails because of the info I've received from others. I can't imagine that the spray in would seal a tonneau cover much differently than the ABS caps.

If you do a search on here, you'll find a ton of opinions on the tonneau from past threads. Personally, I have a Truxedo LoProfile and am very happy with it. Whichever one you end up with some features to look for are velcro sides-the heavier the velcro the better (snaps are a pain), integral cross supports so they don't roll around the bed when it's rolled up, and tension adjustment.

Also, with these you get what you pay for. If you find something cheap, it probably is. Buy the best you can afford and it will pay off in the quality. Good luck.

Well I spent a bunch of time on the internet yesterday. I think I'm going to go with the PUTCO Stainless Steel bed caps, PUTCO tie down, and the Access Lorado Tonneau cover. Now I just need to come up with some $$.
