Default No dust brake pads?

I was talking to a friend about posting a question here about low dust brake pads. I hate it when my rims get all black and grimy. My friend said he thought that ceramic brake pads didn't create any dust. Is this true?

What are the best brake pads to get to cut down on the dust build up you get on your rims?

As usual a quick search shows me that indeed ceramic brake pads cut down on brake dust.

Can anyone recommend a brand? I'm not looking for hot rod performace, just reasonable cost daily driver stuff.

Akebono ceramic brakes with new, high quality rotors.

I went to the Akebono website. I can't find any prices. Who sells them?

Take a look here.

These are for a 2004 QC 2wd as spec'd in the bottom of your post.
