Hey all, I have a problem with my 02 dodge ram with the 4.7. My remote quit working to unlock the doorrs but alarm still arms. And the door lock swith inside the truck only works when the truck is running. And sometimes not even then. As i drive down the road thelamp out light dings of and on and flashes. But there are no lights out on the truck. This has been driving my nuts. Im trying to avoid goin to the dealer so they can hook it up for 75 dollars. Someone please help if iknowlegable on this. Thanks a million

 

you might have a problem with you locking mechanism. EVerything else on your remote works right?? As for the lamp out, I guarantee there is a blown bulb somewhere on your truck. Your best bet is to go out at night to look for them. Mine was a brake light. I looked for 2 days and couldnt find it, finally had the wife put it in reverse and hold down the brakes and it was there staring me in the face. I kinda like the idea of the idiot light though. The cops here have a hard on for burnt lights.
