Can you guys search a VIN and see if or what has been done to my truck at the dealership? I have an 04 1500 QC 4x4 with 21k thats throwing a code. The dealer says it has had a crank sensor replaced in the past, and now needs a cam sensor. Can you guys find out exactly what has been done to my truck in the past with its previous owner?
Its not that I dont trust my dealer, I would just like to know of possible problems it may have had before I purchased it. Thanks for any help!

 

Since it is still under warranty I would be willing to bet that Dodge has a record on the VIN of any warranty work that has been done on it. Go to the Dodge web page and click the customer service link. Give them your VIN and ask them this question. I bet they can tell you. I sent them an email asking what the original equipment and factory installed options were on my Ram since I bought it used. I got a reply in about 3 days that detailed litterally everything and was about 3 pages long.
