Default tires

I have a 2003 dodge ram 1500 my tires size is P265/70R17 i would like to know how tall and wide i can go with new mud terrain tires, with stock suspension and rims without the tires rubbing.

i was told 285/70 but some people on here have said they are running 305's

I wanna know as well. I've learned 285/70/17 are not a problem at all. I've heard people have went bigger to 305's and even 35's but I dunno for certain....

I went with 295's, and I believe 305's would work as well. I still have room left with mine on.

I'm cranking up the torsion bars a little tomorrow and then getting 17x9 moto metal 951 wheels on goodyear 305/70/17 wrangle mtr's mounted on wednesday. I'll post some pics A.S.A.P....!!

Well I didn't go with a metric measurement but I did put 33x12.50/R17 on my 2002 QC 1500 4x4. Did not have to touch the torsion bars and there isn't any rubbing.
