Superchip
I am looking at buying a Superchip programmer for my 02 QC and am wondering if you can use them on more then one truck. My Dad and I have the same pickup and are thinking about splitting the cost, will it reprogram them both?
Well im 100% sure that you cant use it on two trucks when its for the 04-05 rams, and about 99% sure you cant use it on two trucks for the other models.
It loads your stock file into memory and can only hold one stock file at a time, If you tune your truck, then plug it into your Dads truck it will error out with the VIN's not matching.
Also FYI be aware of ebay for these because if the last person didnt return their truck to stock it will not work on your truck either.

Well no, each one is slightly different as it learns your driving behavior. Not only that it creates a hash of your vin and computer, and for anyone keeping score at home, the odds of two hash values matching are in the billions. You are more likely to find two people with the same fingerprints than have to different files with the same hash.
