Default 2wd Rumble Bee Lifted w/pics.

Here's one before the lift. Let me see if I can't get a couple of after the lift.

And here is one more from the side. Sorry, I couldn't get them all to fit in one post.

Looks good, but I'd take the body moulding off the front . . . just doesn't seem right with a lift.

Just an honest question... Why lift and put big mud tires on a 2wd?

I guess it's a truck, and it would be nice to go places that a non-lifted 2wd with street rubber would surely get stuck.
Just be careful.

I like the look. Really that is the only reason. I drive 6 miles one way to work and that is most of the driving that I do. I realize that it is not practical, and I would probably still get stuck in the mud becuase it is not a 4x4, but it is something that I've always wanted to do/have. That's all.

Well, I thought the same thing as you. When I moved to California, I kept seeing 2wd's with 35's and a 6" lift. I know it's not the norm, but I'd say 8 out of 10 lifted trucks here are 2wd. It is for a couple reasons, #1, it's cheaper to lift a 2wd than a 4wd. Secondly, out here where you offroad in sand, 2wd is just as good as 4wd. If you are in mud or rock crawling, it's a different story, but driving around sand dunes it makes no difference. So, before you bash the guy, ask where he is from.

They sell trucks (mostly Ford, but also some Chevys and Titans) out here that have pre-runner fenders, 33" tires, and a lift. They lift them at shops around San Diego, sell em as new trucks (with factory warranties), because the market is so large for em.

I didn't bash a goddamn thing. I asked what purpose it served in his mind. If he has a use for a lift kit and huge tires on a 2WD I'm all for it. I don't care what his answer was, "it looks good to me" is suitable enough. I even went so far as to offer up my own thoughts on perhaps the reason he did it, and then waited to find out if I was right or wrong...

You've got to be a little more tolerant, and just because I ask a question does not mean I am bashing.
