When I had my 2004 RC, I removed the plastic tub behind the seat and just put 2 12" subs in 2 seperate truck boxes back there. Nothing creative. The tub comes out by removing the 3 torex screws inside the tub. If you decide to do anything creative, take some pics and post 'em. Good Luck.....

I have the most simple box set up. 2 individual boxes each holding a 10in Alpine Type E. and pushing them is a sony Xplode 1200watts 2 channel. For the rest of the speakers im going to add and MTX 1400 watts 4 channel amp under the driver seat. the head unit is still factory im not sure what to put in yet. the sound of the subs is really good and very clear. also I have zero vibrating noise when I blast them

I have an 05 Reg Cab thats a month and a half old after wrecking my first one after two months of ownership... my first task was to get a system in it.
Here's a List of what i have.

Headunit: Pioneer DEH-80MP
Door Speakers Kicker 05KS693 6x9's
Speakers between sub box Kicker 05KS694 6x9's
Subwoofers 2 Kicker CompVR 12
Amp Kicker 600.1 Momo Sub Amp
Others Pioneer Sirius Adapter and Airware XM satelite Radio

i had to remove the stock 5.5" speakers from behind the seat...i replaced them with the 6x9's between each of the box's
soon i will add a Kicker 840.4 amp for the 6x9's and figure out how to keep the headliner/evic from vibrating so much
To see pictures of all this go to my website... www.nortacscomputers.com/truck.htm
