tranny cooler lines leaking?

Default tranny cooler lines leaking?

anyone else have this problem. it started same time i lost my rear end. just noticed it up on the lift. just seeing my my luck truely does suck or if this truck is really built weak

Where are they leaking at? At the radiator or the tranny itself? Have you tried tightning them?

If you do try tightening them, try to find a flare nut wrench. Its like a boxed end wrench, except it has more metal around the box portion of it, and it has an opening to get around the line. It often helps stop rounding of the nut due to using a standard open end wrench. Oh yah, make sure you use a backer wrench too so you don't twist the fitting the line is connected to.

it looks as to be the hose that is leaking where it connects to the metal peice. by the little clamp i am going to try to tighten it down but i cant get to it right now. the truck is on a lift and i cant really reach it. newayz im planning on that but just wanting to know if anyone else had this happen to them thanks a lot
