I don't have a lot of extra money so I figured I'd take the resonator off my truck because I think the sound clips I've heard sound pretty nice. So has anyone seen someone that sells a piece of pipe to replace the length from the muffler out the side of the truck? Or even better a "fake" dual exhaust off the existing muffler. Thanks.

 

A muffler shop can fabricate something for you. As for the "fake" dual look, most dual exhaust systems sold are "fake" in the true sense. But back to your question - I've seen muffler shops make a Y pipe from the muffler exit and run the duals from there.

 

just unclamp the pipe coming out of the muffler and clamp a turndown in its place, might cost $5, if you really want the tailpipe amuffler shop can help you, or your local autozone should have some pipe that you can put together.

 

you can get pipe from autozone, checker or any local muffler shop for pretty cheap.
