Default 2004 ram hemi $4,900! buy back.

My insurance company called me today and told me they will buy my truck for 25,000. I only paid 19.500. three weeks ago, cool. I asked them about buying my truck back from them, and they said sure $4,900. So, now what do I do with it? sell it, keep it and fix it?, ebay?, craigs list. some advice would be great. (2004 QC slt 5.7 hemi 30,100 miles, cloth, 20", black.)

If its not totaled. Buy it back and you'll get 20,500 back and a truck. But it is your choice if it didnt look too bad that is what i would do.

Hell, I'd buy it back quick. Either way you are in a win-win situation. Even if there is a considerable amount of damage, you can still get more than 4,900 out of the truck. You can't lose. GO for it I say. Hell, you could 5,000 out of just the wheels and the engine.

That's the good thing about insurance. From the looks of your truck, it is in great shape from a full roll, it landed on it's wheels so it shouldn't have scraped real bad. You could do like silentblinder said and sell the engine, wheels, tranny, all the goods. I bet you could save the bed and use it for a trailer. I would definitly sell and buy back. Then get a new ram and post up some pics!

It might be costly to fix so part it out and you should get a lot from the engine, suspension, trans etc.

From the looks of it, the truck should be used to part out. It also depends on how much time you want to spend doing the parting and selling. It may be a headache and not worth your time, so in that case take the money, but leave the truck.

I'd say buy it back. You get two trucks for the price of one and you can part it out on ebay. Plus you'll have two hemis

A track dedicated Hemi powered race truck, just throwing it out there. But seriously, if I was in the same situation, I'd take the truck and build a track or off-road beater (but thats just me, I already have seven vehicles at my house).
