7/70,000 warranty Questions
Hey All
We got a great deal on our "Brandi" (2005 QC) last summer when I was home on leave from the Catpan, it was a Program/lease truck with 23,000 miles on it. I had asked about the 7 year 70,000 mile extended warranty and the sales guy said no that they only had the 3 year 36,000 warranty on it.
So I'm looking through the owners manual and low and behold there is a chart in there that says that the "2nd" owner can get the 7/70,000 warranty if it is under the 3/36.
I'm at 29,800 miles now and I know that I need to go ask the dealer, but has anyone gone this route and done the added warranty??
Thanks H-

Before I bought my new truck(05 QC) I was actually looking at a used rumble bee with 31,XXX on it. I called the dealer before I bought it and they told me that the 7/70,000 did actually go with it. Maybe they told me wrong, but thats what they told me.
As long as you haven't had it for more than 30 days, if you go to a Dodge dealer, they will gladly take $150.00 from you and transfer the warranty into your name.
I had the same issue and Diamer Chrysler just sent me the necessary forms.

thats a good question im at 34,000 miles right now and if i can get the 7/70 ill jump on it in a heartbeat. i rather pay for the extended warranty than have to give up two grand on fixing that dam differential when it goes out again...
I bought an 04 qc hemi with about twelve thousand miles on it, and paid one fifty for the seven seventy powertrain warranty. The dealer did mention though, as this might seem like common sense to most people, that it only covers the engine and transmission.
