Default New tires go on my truck in T-minus 2 hours.

I could not get any aggressive tread tires for a reasonable cost... The lowest quote I received was $1600CAD for 4 tires. So, instead I am going with regular street tires, the HANKOOK VENTUS STRH06 in a 275/55/R20 for $1000. I read a lot of reviews online before making the decision, I even checked out the Bridgestones and Falkens that were suggested, but nothing was rated nearly as well...

For anyone who wants more info, here is a link...

http://www.1010tires.com/tire.asp?ti...Ventus+ST+RH06

They're selling online for $275USD/each, so the fact that I can get mine for $250CAD each, I'm a pretty happy guy.

I'll be back in a few hours hopefully with pictures (if I can get my hands on a camera - remember I ran over mine, heh)

Looks good, but don't you have snow up there right now? Good luck with the new treads, they look sweet!!

Cool, good luck with those tires I'm not sure youd want to run them now though, I dont know about you but in Toronto there's quite a bit of snow..

It really sucks how aggressive tires here are so expensive compared to the USA.

Got them put on last night, took 2 hours, because the shop I went to couldn't handle 20" rims... So (lucky for them) they went right next door to a huge Dodge dealership and asked them nicely to put my new tires on. :P

And yes, actually... We *JUST* got snow this week... I mean, we had a little here and there... But it's been like 50F until last week. Now we've got about a foot of snow.

The reason I got new tires, is because mine are bald, and one of them got a nail in it...

So even these new tires are an improvement over bald + flat tires. :P

What else was I going to get?

Besides, they work great. Driving around last night I noticed a huge different. On hard-packed snow like in parking lots and stuff, it's like I'm driving on skates... But other than that, they feel great... And if it's too slippery, just throw it in 4WD and it's fine.
