Lookin for a new sound
I have a 2004 HEMI. Has anyone tried to take the muffler and resonator off and just ran it that way? What does it sound like? I had super 40's on my Ford and it sounded cool, but now I got very cheep, don't want to spend the money if i don't have to. Need some more info. please help

Just wanted to post my results with taking the resonator off my '05 hemi QC. I didn't think it made the truck any louder. I did get some resonating in the cab around 2000rpm, otherwise it sounded exactly the same with it off, so I put it back on. Oh well, guess it's time to save up for a new muffler.

No mods... well I just removed the resignator. My thoughts? I would still like more rumble, that is until I rolled down the windows.

I don't know what luke did wrong, but I just took mine off. It Sounds Great!!!!! Not too loud, not too quiet. Thanks Rob. I do not need to buy a muffler now, its loud enough

In a word: loud.
In more then one word: It will make babies cry, trees to wilt, husbands to leave their wives (which may be a good thing), give your computer a virus, cause the polar ice caps to melt, throw the world off its axis, and bring an end to teh world as we know it.
Straight pipes are loud. You will not be able to sneak into the neighborhood at anything later then about 9 o'clock. Its not if a cop pulls you over, its when. It will be loud.
