The back seat of my 3rd gen ram is like DOUBLE the size of my fathers 2nd gen ram... man those late 90's rear seats are killer... can't believe i used to ride back there...

No doubt. My brother picked me up in his 99 and I thought my legs were going to fall asleep. Definitely cramped.

Yeah we do have the smallest back seats, but they do fine. All my friends pile in the back, and none of them ever complain about space, it's still pretty roomy. Plus I was reading an auto magazine at work, and it said that we have the longest of the shortbeds for QC out of all of the compitition. It's handy that they fold up, and you can store a bunch of stuff back there, right now my back seats are filled with stuff.
Yea, my friend just bought a supercrew F-150 4x4 and it has a more space in the back, but he only has a 5.5 ft bed. I drove it yesterday and his truck "felt" smaller overall. At least, not as wide as mine.

I went from an 86 Camaro to my 04 Ram and the size seems the same from when I first bought it.

My truck still feels big, especially after driving the wife's 06 Jetta. As far as the back seats go, I think they are fine. I didn't like having my knees in my chest, like when I rode in the back of my brothers 05 Supercrew F-150. We might have less room on measurement, but I prefer the seating position of the Ram. I'm still waiting to get a chance to check out the MegaCab 2500 w/CTD.
