Default Back seat size?

The Ram has just about the smallest back seat, I think. I looked at a 4-door 1500 chevy today, and their back seat is no bigger than ours. I also looked at a 2006 F-150 today, their back seat is alot bigger. Haven't seen a Titan back seat, but I was really surprised with the chevy seat being that small will those huge back doors.

I said it before, and I'll say it again... At least it's not an older gen ram... 1996 in particular, I had 2 of them, back seat was non-existant, hard for even a child to fit...

The back seats in my 2005 Quad Cab are PLENTY big, I'm 6'9" and if I ever had to ride back there, I'm sure I would fit... Though I can't think of any situation where I would *NOT* be in the driver seat... All my friends fit comfortably in the back...

This is why we chose the Mega Cab over most other models. We'd looked into all 3 automakers at the 4 door models. For some reason they seem to indent the middle seat of the bench if it's got leather seating. Now I know my 8 year old daughter wouldn't like sitting that way for our annual 17 hour trip. The automakers messed up on that end. Why they can't make a bench seat that is straight across is beyond me. The Mega Cab will be working just fine with us and 3 kids. One of the reasons we are getting rid of the Suburban is that the rear seat sitting is tight in terms of leg room and the kids are getting bigger. The middle seat back there is the only one with leg room to stretch your legs outward. But it's only got a lap belt-no shoulder strap. Not safe for my 8 year old at all. The Mega Cab had the shoulder strap seat belt and full bench for all 3 kids to sit.

My next truck will be a Ram 2500 CTD MC for the reasons listed. I like having the room of a car with the capability of a truck.

Well seeing that the only people who sit in the back have been the ladies, carting the drunks around, its been fine. I sat in the back of my friends and I was not comfortable but it was alright.

Yes, I know. That is why I take the wife's VW Jetta when I have to do some errands around town.
