...and find some way to get rid of the hemi hat/resonator. if you look inside it you'll notice it has chambers an will impede the thru airflow to the TB. You'll notice the big dollar intakes removes the hat.

I think perhaps you are a little confused... The opening in the throttle body is only so large, and will only allow a certain amount of air to pass through... Just because you make your tube bigger means nothing. Sure, there is greater volume, but flow will not be affected. Let me use another example...

Say you're driving on a 3-lane highway, but there is an accident in the far right lane, and emergency vehicles in the middle lane... 2 lanes are blocks, and everyone in the far right and middle lanes will be trying to get into the left lane... So you've got TONS of traffic, but you're flow of traffic is restricted to the size of the opening...

Make sense?

aw yes..thats correct...an maybe "Your" intake is still using the stock snorkel as it's only opennin too...thats a bottleneck there...hence I "openned" it up by adding holes in the airbox to allow more air in. To each his own...all I know is that my motor roars wen I stomp on it and when I go wot I don't get that "hold back" jerky feelin I use to get with the stock air box because the Hemi does want and need more air when you let her run...

"Back in the day" racers would opt to completely remove the intake, yes it would allow dirt particles into the engine, badddddd... and now'days we've got sensors to worry about.
