Default 2wd Suspension Lift

I have a Suspension lift question. I have been looking at the Rough Country Lift and am probably going to buy it. i want to ask those of you who have purchased this lift, did the lift come with everything you needed, or did you have to buy some extra stuff like steering extensions, control arms, etc... I have an 05 QC 1500 2wd. I am planning on the 6 inch but not sure if i want to spend that much right now or if i want to go with the 3 inch and maybe down the road upgrade to the 6 inch.

This is mine with the 6" lift from Rough Country. It does come with everything that you need.

2-Coil Springs
2-Coil Spring Spacers
2-3" Lift Spindles
4-Heckthorne shocks (they kind of suck) w/boot covers
2-Steering extensions
2-2" Rear Blocks w/hardware

Did you install it yourself? If you did, how difficult was it and about how long did it take?

how long ago did you purchase that lift 05hemi? the kits comes with 3" coils and 3" spindles now, no spacers.

I already have coils in my 2wd and now I'm looking at spindles...I am going with 4" spindles that are replicates of CST's. Truck store on ebay has them for $350 for the 4" spindles and 3" blocks. Guy I know has already put 10k on his lift from this store on ebay, they are legit.

Ross - Did you install Springtecks 2.5 lift coils? If you did, have you had any problems and what is all involved. Need a spring compressor? new shocks? any alignment issues? steering?

I also have the 6" rough country lift. Like was previously stated the shocks suck! I would definately recommend upgrading the shocks. The kit came with everything to install it, and I did it myself. It took about 5 hours and was pretty straight forward. here's a pic.

Hey Big Blu, your six inch lift did it come with 3" coils and 3" spindles giving you you 6" lift? Or did it have a coil spacer in it?

3" coils, and 3" spindles for a total of 6", and a 3" block in the rear, and an add-a-leaf. All four shocks and shock boots are included as well.

Nice trucks... Listen i was told some time ago, that when you install lifts like these, it wears on your steering components.
Is this true? Also, how much did the kit cost?
