nerf bars
Are nerf bars fairly easy to install. I was going to buy a set of black bars for my truck and I can save about $60-$80 if I install them myself. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
or 3 or 4...
I've installed running boards on GM's before and installed my first set of nerf bars on my Ram last fall. Took a little longer than I planned. First time I ever had to mount the bar brackets to body mounts! Took me awhile to figure it out. My bars came with absolutely no instructions. I could put the same set on in less than an hour now though. I was quoted $150.00 to install my running boards on my GMC Envoy last year so I did them myself also. Those were a little more involved though, fiberglass and screws (always room to break something!)

I installed a set of powdercoated black nerf bars back in the fall. It took maybe an hour and a half. I bought them from Ebay $135. Compared to the Stealer's quote of $600 for " Dodge " nerf bars installed, there's no reason not to buy and install your own.
