On superchips.com one of the features it lists is the ability to read engine diagnostic codes. Does it use that ODB-II interface and if so can you use it to read codes from other vehicles as well, or is that tied to the same vehicle that you use to tune it? I know you can only use it to tune one vehicle only, just wondering if the trouble code reader can be used on other cars. Just thought that would be a cool side effect of buying one, those trouble code readers are like $80.

 

I would bet it will only work on the vehicle it's designed to be connected with. Could be wrong, but you might send an e-mail to Superchips.
