No problem at all mate.
Everything is fine.
She runs great with very little, if any, power loss.
It sure is fine to pull up and say "fill her up" and spend only £45 !!!!!
Remember, get your log book updated at the DVLA to include the LPG conversion. The log book when returned, will say Bi-Fuel.
I checked with the DVLA this morning after our illustrious chancellor [sm=boosign.gif] upped the road tax in yesterdays budget for all the gas guzzeling 4x4's. We qualify as a "green vehicle", so we're not affected by the increased duty.[sm=happy046.gif]
Cool eh ?
I pulled out a spark plug the other day and they showed the correct nice coffee brown colour, indicating to me, that the burn is complete in the engine etc.
You will REALLY start enjoying your truck, now the worry of costs has reduced.
You have a much bigger tank than me so you will have further between fill up's.
Your tanks 230 litres minus 20% for expansion etc, giving a workable total of 184 litres.
My two tanks are 140 litres - 20% = 112 litres workable.
I guess you opted for the tank in the bed did you?
Is your system the Prins VSI ?
Make sure your installer does a tidy job for you.
I have just been back to have a few of the settings tweaked. All it involves is to hook a lap top up to the Prinz ECU and change the paraameters. I had the temperature adjusted for the engine to warm up a bit more before the LPG kicked in. Also, the LPG was richened a little giving me a bit more punch.
Anyway, PM me if you need any more info and keep in touch and post your instal pictures and how you find things with it.
Take care and CHEAP MOTORING !!!!
