Lube for my motor
Well, what conditions are you running your truck in? Do a lot of towing? Do you change your oil according to the severe schedule or are you just ho-hum when it comes to oil changes? Will you be doing the oil change? Do you want to shell out the extra couple of bucks for synthetic?
If you are in a severe environment and your truck sees regular work...well then yes to the synthetic. If you don't change your oil like you need to and frequently run 10K on conventional without giving it a second thought, well, yes to synthetic.
If you change your oil every 3K miles religiously and the truck is just a grocery getter, conventional is fine. Really, conventional is fine for the above mentioned situations (except the 10K change intervals) as long as you change the oil frequently.
I vote for synthetic.

I actually quieted the "Hemi Tick" by switching to Mobil 1. I read all the posts on here and I took everyones word for it and after switching I will never go back to conventional oil. Just my .02
I change my oil every 3000 miles. I never miss a change and I do it myself. I don't tow that often but I do drive from Texas to Indiana 8 times a year so the truck sees alot of highway miles. Does synthetic improve mpg at all?

Just wondering what everyone's opinon on oil is? Is synthetic worth the extra money? Comments welcome.
