I want to install my new radio and i want to know if it's possible to remove the back seat for install my amplifiers in the back of their seat. I have a quad cab, and i think i can put my ampli in the back of the back seat. How remove this seat?

You are going to put an amp behind the rear seat in your quad cab? If so, I think you might want to rethink that or else you'll run the chance of burning up amps left and right since there is no airflow back there or at least lack of good enough airflow to keep your amp cool. Have you measured the space behind the rear seat yet? I'm not sure what the depth is, but I'm gonna guess that there isn't much.

To answer your question, if you go here, you'll find a link on the left hand side to the shop manual. It tells you how to unbolt, repair, rebolt almost anything on your truck. Let us know what you decide.

 

It's only four bolts holdong the rear seats up all pointing down, 9/16ths i think, my truck used to have amps back behind the left rear seat, I don't know how well they survived because it is tight, they better be way slim and done at the risk of them overheating.

 

Thanks body. My amp have 1.5 -2 inch . i think is the place to put my amp because i can't find any place to put it. i think my amp have enough place behind the seat. anyway i will check that after the seat removed.
