You guys are gonna love this trick, and it really works if you have Keyless entry. You are not gonna believe it.

OK. If you get locked out and don't have the spare with you. Your 2nd Keless entry is home. (HOPEFULLY SOMEONE WILL BE HOME TO ANSWER THE PHONE) Have the person at home hit the unlock button on your keyless entry while holding it up to the phone. Then hold your cell phone (ASSUMING YOU HAVE A CELL PHONE> WHO DEOSN'T) about a foot away from your truck door. The power door lock will magically open. No need to call AAA unless no one is home to answer the phone and hit the keyless entry for you. We tried it as an experiment and it works. I nearly Dooted in my pants when I saw the lock pop. Try it if you don't believe me. except don't really lock yourself out of the truck. [sm=coolness.gif]

 

I've heard of that too, but when I tried it, it didn't work...

I had the same thing happen. but it was at home so no big deal. Just sitting in the drive and it locked. Hasn't done it since though. The valet key seems to be the answer. Don't put it under the hood though, as you have to get inside to open the hood.

 

Ya know what fellas, I really dont care if I get locked out or not ... I have to carry full coverage on my ride anyway .. If I have no other way in ... good bye glass ... Ill put something through a door window.
