Does anyone know what would give me more color when using an Hid Kit,factory headlights or projectors? The color I am looking for with my 10K kit is a deep blue color with little to no white whatsoever.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have been trying to find answers to this question but no luck.


Another reason I would like to know is that the other day I saw a guy with a truck exactly like mine(04 dodge ram Hemi pickup) and his Hid's looked bluer than heck with no white at all.The floor and road were solid blue. Does anyone know of any tricks that might give me that solid deep blue color I am looking for?


I just don't know what to do. Factory or Projectors.


My truck does not have that color at all and my HID kit is 10K which should produce a blue color but doesn't.


What to do?

 

Every time I see a vehicle in the oncomming lane with those bright blue lights, I feel the urge to move over into their lane and cause a head-on collision... I frickin' HATE those lights. They serve no purpose, blue light is no easier to see in the middle of the night than white light... I think people with blue lights do it JUST to be annoying, because you know it hurts other peoples eyes to look at... Rice.

 

6500K Philips Ultinons are a blue as a good HID bulb will go. Every thing else is junk.

 

From what i have heard it is not recommended to put HIDs on projector headlights, thats why i kept mine stock. I also have the 10000k HIds and on my truck they do look deep blue, even with the cheap $20 ricer ones.

 

Phillips does make a nice bulb.

 

You need to get HIDs with the blue lens. If you want to go more blue you can get blue H1 bulbs. My HIDs are blue with the new HID Projector Halo assembly.

I installed my projectors and merely swapped out the bulbs and roadlight bulbs with silverstars bright white.
IM not into the whole blue, let me blind the person in front of me lights!

I swear everytime someone comes behind me with those things, I let them pass and creep up their **** with my projector highbeams!

 

I agree with Rob and FL. Those real blue bulbs don't look right to me but that's my opinion. Because SilverStar doesn't come in H13, I just bought the Nokya Arctic white H13 and 9006 for my '06 thinking it was a pure white bulb. Although they still look better than stock you can still see the blue, which I don't want.

 

Try the Nokya Cosmic white, they have more of a white light and less blueish tone. The silverstars are nice but still have alot of the yellow look to them
