Default TruXedo Weather Seal

I recently had to remove the TruXedo Tonneau cover, including the side rails, from my truck. I noticed the rubber weather seal was worn and was coming unbonded from the rails.
I e-mailed TruXedo through the “contact link” on their web page three times without a response. Each time I requested replacement seals for each side rail, about 12.5 feet. Finally I called and was told, and received an e-mail, stating the seal was being shipped. I received a package from TruXedo that contained 13 inches of the seal. I have e-mailed TruXedo a forth time requested the seal without a response. I asked them, if they couldn’t provide the seal, to recommend a store were I could buy the material.
I have checked the local stores and cannot find the size seal that is required.
The packing list shows the following:

Part ID: 1702614
Description: Extruded Weather Seal_1/8x1_Rubber_EPDM.

Needless to say, I would not recommend a TruXedo since they do not honor their warranty.

Thanks

Sorry to hear about that. I've got a Truxedo LoProfile and have been happy with it and recommended them several times.

I copied them the link to your post thru Contact Me. Maybe it'll do some good. I'd have to think that they would not want to see this kind of stuff over something that should be as minor as this. Also, maybe try the dealer you got yours from.

Truxedo sent me an email saying they had seen your post and were going to contact you on getting you the right stuff. Hope it works out.

Thanks mill500!!

Today I recieved a reply from the folks at TruXedo. They are sending me 14 ft of the seal. And a Truxedo hat, which I'll wear proudly!

By the way, this is the second TruXedo product I've owned. Had one on my Nissian Frontier and was very happy with it.
