no i don't hate mine, I have an 05 QC that I got new in November. Got about 8k on there now. I do notice that the pep sometimes doesnt seem to be consistent. If i give it some pressure may take a second to kick in.

Do you have AWD? I do on my '05, and it won't break the tires loose when I punch it, but it launches hard

The throttle response in the 2006 dodge ram hemi was toned down on purpose, so when people get stuck and switch into 4WD LO, they don't blow up their differential and transfer case from gunning it and giving too much power...

Yes, the new 2006's are slower to accelerate and feel less powerful...

The 2005 was by far the fastest production HEMI...

I don't think there's anything you can do about it, except wait for somebody like Superchips to come out with a reprogrammer for your 2006...

I've gotta 06' 1500 QC Hemi 4x4 w/2800 miles on it. When I bought the truck, it felt powerful, but now I've gotten used to it, so the power isn't as noticable anymore, I don't think I'm loosing power. But sometimes I wish I should've gotten the 2500 Cummins Mega Cab!

Most likely, the computer has started to adapt to your driving style also. Combine that with the torque management trans and you end up with less torque feel on the butt-o-meter. You can reset the pcm by either pulling the fuse to it, or disconnecting the battery for a short time. The car companies have really made their vehicles virtually unmodifiable by means of all the computers, and making sure its hard to afford to make the changes we would like to be able to do, based on our own particular driving styles.
