Im lovin the MDS on my 06 1500, it greatly cuts down my fuel consumption on the highway. I am averaging about 14 in town and about 17 on the highway, Still only have about 500 miles on it, Im hoping that the gas mil. will improve over the next few months (so the manual says......lol) I am holding out for the tuner for it sometime soon so I can use the economy setting and I should be doing pretty good after that.

According to the literature at the dealership, the '06 2500's and 3500's have MDS on the 5.7 Hemi's.

Interesting, I was under the impression that they did not have the MDS, could be wrong though. Definitely not the first time, and definitely not the last.

No MDS on the 2006 2500/3500 Heavy Duty Rams. That was a big selling point for me when I bought my new Ram. My dealer also stated there was no intent on putting it in the HD Rams in the future.

My bad, the 2500's on up don't have MDS as stated earlier. I do believe I need to learn to read without crossing my eyes. Go ahead, I'm ready for the dunce cap.

Nah, no dunce cap today. Enjoy the weekend and be sure to adjust your clock for daylight savings time. I hate getting up and having to do things and then realizing I've already wasted an hour
