Introduction (sort of)
.
Just wanted to formally introduce myself and my rig to the 3rd gen forum. I've been a member of DF for a little while now, and racked up 201 posts back in the 2nd gen section with my former truck (username Two60s98). Last week we upgraded our tow rig to an '06 QC 2500 CTD 4x4, and the thing is fabulous! Can't wait to haul the Heep to Moab, Utah next week.
I'll take a moment to use the search feature to orient myself to how to properly care for the new diesel, as to not ask a ton of newbie questions (first diesel).
But, if anyone wishes to answer any, I'll be researching maintenance and schedules, fuel and additives, and of course which mods I can do to it without voiding the factory warranties (standard, not extended). Most of that's probably been asked too many times. Would be cool if there was some sort of 'New to CTD - Things to know and how-tos' sticky. I've asked a friend who owns one, and also the dealership tech, and get different answers/suggestions on things.
Here's a quick shot of the prior ride:

And, here's it's replacement:

We will miss the older gasser, but love the new one too!
