Default vibration on acceleration

my '05 1500 quad cab hemi 4x4 has a distinct vibration on hard acceleration or under load (when pulling a trailer). the dealer thought drive shaft...no then they thought front axles...no...they sent me home after replacing those item and said it must be something in the front differential....they claim to have driven it with the front drive shaft disconnected and it went away...so today they have it all day and still can't figure it out...

anyone with any similar experience???

thanks

Default RE: vibration on acceleration

I have a 06 2500 Hemi QC 4x4 Sport short bed and get a vibration upon acceleration when I hit 1200 RPM. I have talked to someone at the dealer and he said he has had 3 other 06 owners come in and they add an extra clamp on the exhaust system somewhere that is supposed to stop the vibration. I am adding an aftermarket Gibson exhaust soon so I hope that stops the vibration. I have 3000 miles on my truck and have had the vibration for about the last 2000 miles. It only lasts for about one second at 1200 RPM though. I hope it goes away. That is the only issue I've had with my truck though. I love it even with my 12 MPG!!!
