Looks great! How long did it take you to complete the project? Or perhaps I should ask how many cold ones did it take

From the time I started removing to putting them back in was just under 4 hours over a couple nights.

Finished the install today.
What a job, lost track of time and spent about 2-3 hours today not working on the seats. My bud John came over to help out, a big thanks goes out there!
I already had the center console disassembeled and mostly re-covered. We remove the base of the console, and pulled the seats. While removing the passangers seat cover I tore the velcro strip out. I glued it back into place after trip to Auto Zone for upholstery glue. While waiting for the glue to set up we installed my Superchips flashaq into his truck and took it for a test ride. He's keeping it for a few weeks to decide if he wants to spend the 350+ for a new one.

After goofing off I decided to cover the lid for the console, the colors were too different not to. When installing this part you have to remove the trim ring by carefully prying up. We decided to spray adhesive on the cover to keep the leather from moving around and also to keep things flat and tight. The only issue was the new covers did not have a foam pad around the perimeter of the cover so I removed the factory foam and glued it onto the cover. It gave the perimeter a smoother appearance and hid any deformities from the plastic behind it.
All in all it was a clean installation and came out really nice. The best part is, I got rid of the cigarette odor the previous owner left in the cab. With the new seat covers the leather overpowers anything else and 3/4's of the smell was from the old seat covers which are about to hit the rafters for storage until I decide to toss them out...

I'd post pics but haven't a clue how to or even to put any into a gallery.

I am doing the same thing. I have taken the tray out of the bottom of the center console, and taken the lid off. How do I detach the console? Undo the nuts under the console?

The lid is removed via screws that hold the piano hinge in place. The console (seatback portion) has one screw on the passenger side pivot that you remove. On the drivers side there's a bracket that slides under the cover. You can expose it by peeling the seat cover off the edge on the drivers side of the center seat back. There are 2 screws that fix it to the pivot. The plastic trim piece under the fabric rotates back when you remove the 2 screws. The seat portion is held in place by 4 bolts at each corner. It's easier to remove the center portion from the 2 seats and remove everything seperately from the cab thatn it is to take out as a complete assembly.
When you bolt everything back up losely install everything line it all up then tighten the center section while you can still rotate the assembly a little so you can access the center seat bolts better.
Good luck.
