Anyone running 24" wheels/ What size tire?
I know most of the web sites say 305/35r24 but the O.D is .5 inch shorter than the stock 20 plus I would like a little more side wall protection for pot holes. Tirerack told me 315/30r24 and my local tire store is saying 285/40r24. Before I buy I would like some input form some already running a 24" setup. Thanks
heres mine its on 315 35 24 its bigger then the 305 35 24s i have seen by a fair bit. im wanting to swaitch to 295 35 24s but i got these when i ordered the 295s but it saves me money in the long run they said they screwed up and sent my 350 bucks back. oh well i hit some good bumps and nothing ever hit or rubbed and u can also run this tire with a 2/4 drop if not a 2/5 drop. rubbed the front end once and it was my fault.
[sm=smiley20.gif] Looks good ramon. I was thinking about the same size ands thanks you just confirmed it. For whatever reason that size is cheaper. Only issue is that a 10.5" is recommended rim width so there may be some excessive wear in the center of the tire but I guess I won't worry about that too much because I'll only have them for 2 years.
i got 1400 miles on mine and i checked the tread a few days ago with the gauge we have at work and it was still perfict. theres no weird looking bubble on the tire like i have seen on others. so far everythings great send me some pics once u get yours. glad i could help
Those tires, are, HUGE! I wonder if I could fit them on my truck.
