Default thermostats

hey i was looking around for a 180-degree thermostat for my 2005 4.7l and can't find a single place to buy one! its so hard buying anything for a 4.7l cus hemis are like 99.99999% of the market. (sorry for whining lol). well i know hypertech and JET makes them but each of them say (88-04 3.9/5.2/5.9) and i don't know if that will work on mine. what is also confusing is that it includes 03-04 models, which are ONLY available with 3.7/4.7/5.7. ( i see stuff like this everywhere when searching for aftermarket stuff) and its aggravating. lol

i needz help please!

I have been having a similiar problem finding an 180 degree stat for my 04 hemi. I looked around but i couldn't find anyone who stocked one, I even had a guy from summit search for it and he couldn't find one either. If anyone has any info, I'd appreciate the info.

180 stats aren't worth it. Take it from me. You will find a small small increase. Nothing to notice. All it does its trick the computer into thinking that the car hasnt fully warmed up yet therefore giving it a richer mix which in turn decreases your MPG and barely gives you a noticable increase in power.

...you might have to measure it out to find a 180...even for the hemis ther isn't a specific 180 for them...2 that i know of, you have to trim one and the other is a mr. gasket one made for chryslers... check the summit site for this one...
