Exhaust
ok, i just god rid of my pride and joy due to some problems that there was no wqay to avoid. the only way to end that was to sell my old baby, my 02 ram 2500 diesel wiht a lift tires then whole nine yards. so now i have a brand spankin new 06 ram 1500 wit a hemi. now its not what i really wanted but i got a wicked del on it so now its mine. im definetly gettin a 6 in lift and 37's with 17in rims. I need an exhaust system though cuz this truck sounds like my sisters beemer. no exhoast tone whatsoever. i am dying for a true dual system to really show and hear the hemi. does anyone no of any kits that are a true dual. NOTa single pipe into a muffler then 2 tail pipes. to me that is a waste. any help i would greatly appreciate
I looked through the companies we deal with nobody carries them, you may have to go custom exhaust with Flowmasters or Aero-turbine mufflers to get what your looking for . If you need a price check on mufflers let us now .

you can't just do "true duals". there will be less power because there is no balancing effect. if you did a balance pipe, like an h or an x, then this setup would blow the single out of the water, and sound a lot different (better). it's got a more tuned sound to it. the x-pipe will deliver a smoother sound, and a little more power because not only does it balance the unever pressures in the exhaust pipes, when the exhaust meets up in the x, it heats up a bit again to help push it out the rear. about sound levels...lets just say that the dual will give you what you want, and a bigger smile on your face when it's said and done. im going to do mine myself with the flowmaster pipe kit you can buy off jegs.com. it's only $189 for all the piping i'll need in 2.5 mandrel bent, then im going to install an x-pipe, and 2 dyno max race bullets. this is the setup i have on my 94 mustang gt. it sounds freakin awsome! and loud as heck too! if you do start thinkin about dual and cant decide on an x, or h-pipe (it's mostly about sound preference) the x will deliver about 2-5 more hp. go here www.mustangexhaust.com and check out how they differ in the sound. i know it's on mustangs, but it will be the same effect on the hemi.
