I took my heat gun to heat up the old sealant and scraped it out as best I could with a flat tip screwdriver. I didnt get it all, but I do have a ball of the old stuff about the size of a 50 cent piece.
Yes, it take Patients in getting the emblems off, Some Double sided 3m automotive Tape to apply to the emblems, and a can of Krylon Fusion Gloss Black Paint
. Then just the time to paint it right, I am in the process of doing the headlight mod right now, got one side finished and Gonna Finish the other side in the morning, It is a pain and takes time but cant turn back now, already got one side done.

Here's my 2 cents. I love the wheels. Painting the badges added alot to the truck. The badges compliment the wheels and color of the truck very well. But in my opinion, they somewhat clash with the chrome bumpers and grill. But then I guess you could say the bumpers and grill compliment the wheels. So I guess two complimenting colors outweigh one clash. So I guess what I'm trying to say is, I like it. Great thinking.
P.S. The powdercoated ram head on your tailgate looks mean.... and that's a good thing.
