The shaker hood seen at the detroit auto show is manufactured by Keystone styling and is available for order. Its a fiberglass job but I don't mind because the thing looks great on the truck, just thought I would share since I have not seen it on here yet.

So it isn't a true shaker where the scoop mounts directly to the intake. So it is pretty much like the SRT hood where scoop has tunnels that direct the air over to the cone filter. After looking at it, why do they say it is only for the Hemi, the airbox on the 3rd Gen. 5.9s is in the same position. Thanks for the update.

 

From what I read it is functional for 398 additional dollars.

 

Even though it states being engine mounted, it looks like it just mounts to the engine to move, not like a true shaker as you stated.

 

would be better if the shaker was a box that held a drop in filter and hooked up to your tb

 

If anyone gets one, please post pics of the parts and install. I tried to get this from Keystone, but they seemed confused about my custom diesel install. They kept telling me it only fit the Hemi, which would explain the custom part of the install, but oh well.
