Default Lug Nuts

Has anyone else have the lug nuts start to rust on them iv'e only had my truck 1 month and they are rusting .

Might be the brake dust from the disc breaks. mine look bad if i don't wash it every week.

Just a question but does your exhaust "turned out" infront of your tire(s) spoke with the Tech who did mine and he said it would rust the lug nuts.

No the exhaust does not exit there . The lug nuts at the base are starting to rust I just wanted to know if this is happening to anyone else and if warrenty covers this [:@]

What type wheel do you have? I have the 20" on mine and the lugs are steel with an aluminum cover on them,are you sure its rust and not some other chemical staining them? If you need to,you can remove them.polish them with 000 steel wool and wax them with a protective wax

a couple of mine are rusted, but it's seemingly only because whatever choad took the wheels off last was practicing to be a NASCAR tire changer and started the air lug wrench before he had it on the lug, scraping all the top coat off in a nice circular pattern...
