clicking noise
i put drilled and slotted rotors on a few days ago there great but when i replaced the rear rotors i had to do a little banging on the old rotors to lossen them up now i have a clicking noise from my rear end its not loud but i can hear it is it the slots on the rotors making the noise or is there something wrong with my rear end by the way its a 2003 qc 4x4 with anti spin 3.92 20" tires
Might want to double check the installation and check the rear end. Does it speed up and slow down with the speed of the vehicle? Does it come and go? Is it after you press on the brakes? DOes it go away when you press on the brakes?
Two things that stand out in my mind is the LSD that you have and the fact that you put on new brakes, in regards to tapping noises coming from the rear. I mention the LSD because of the failures that DC has been having with the C clips falling out of the LSD and messing up the rear end. Most likely it is the brakes, but that is what I immediately thought of; the LSD and brake install.

it does tend to increase when i speed up but when i brake it gets quieter, i hope its not the rear because 2 weeks ago i took it to the dealer to have it checked because my 3/36 just ran out april 1 so i took it in a week before that and told them i was going on a long trip so to check it all and also the rear end i told them with one tire on ice and one on pavement the one on ice spins with the lsd i thought it shouldnt do that but they told me it was operating normal so could this noise be the slots in the rotors just clicking untill all the edges are off?
