Default Radio question

I seemed to have misplaced my manual and I would really like to quiet the wife. She is convinced that on my 05 Quad Cab it has a 5 disk CD changer. The reason that she thinks this is that on the preset button 1 it says "disk" and on 5 it says the same thing. She spent a 5 hour car ride trying to get it to work. Will you please tell me what the disk means and if it is a disk changer just shoot me now plz so I dont have to hear it.

Depending on the deck, mine is the CD player with the cassette, there are controls for an "optional" cd changer. More than likely you have the regualr cd player with the controls. It would say right up front that its a 7 disc in dash.

sounds like what you have is radio option RBK. The two buttons you are talking about are multi-function. When you are playing the radio then button 1 is radio preset 1 (and 6) and button 5 is preset 5 and 10. When you put a cd in then button one becomes "skip back" and button 5 becomes "skip forward". Note that button 1 says "CD ^" and for button 5 the triangle is pointing down.
You have a one cd system. Hope this helps in the argument w/the missus.

In 05, you had RBB - AM/FM/CASS, RBK - same as RBB except it has CD not Cass. Both radios had 5 buttons for presets. RBQ - Same as RBK except it has 6 preset buttons, and can hold 6 discs. RB4 - Navigation radio, you would know if you had this. RAZ, this i the the AM/FM/CASS/CD with 5 preset buttons, and only holds one disc. The code for the radio is located on the left side of the plastic display next to to the volume ****.
