Default 04 Hemi QC 4x4 Torsion Bar Adjusters

So, I raised the front of the truck up via the torsion bars and here is what I have:

I have 39” in the front on both sides, but here is an oddness…..

In the back, one side is 39-1/2” and one is 40”…..the adjustments wouln’t affect the back height,…..would they? I never thought to measure the back before hand, so now I may really have it screwed up.

Should I run the adjuster bolts all the way in and then back them out evenly or what. I started with 5 full turns on each side, but now I fear in trying to even things out I have it screwed up.

HELP!

Not sure about this, but where is the fuel tank in relation to the lower side?

I say get it aligned, which you should do anyways. Tell the shop about it before hand, they will tell you it is no big deal. Do a big brake stand on the way out of the parking lot.

driver side is the one that is 39" F and 39-1/2 rear.

Seems odd to me.....seems like the front and back should both be off or neither....?

Assuming you got it aligned, cause the camber will be noticably off with a 5 turn crank, there's no reason the front end, when evenly raised to cause the .5 difference at the rear, unless it was there to begin with.
Best way to measure height is from the center of the wheel to the wheel opening. Sounds like you are measuring from the ground.

I've heard mentioning of turning the passenger side an extra 1/2 to 3/4's of a turn to compensate for the grade in most road surfaces. Seems odd to me though as you would have the truck not level on all 4 corners if you did that...

I plan to get er aligned tomorrow. Guess I can just tell them there (like you said) and see what they say.

Next up is the healight adjustment. Do the Ram headlights have the bubble levels on em or just 2 adjusters?

Two adjusters on the headlamps and the post about the gas tank weight might be relevant if you have a lot of gas in the tank?
