I'm in the process of installing a transimission temp guage and aftermarket pan. However, after doing a variety of searches I don't find info here on a switched power source for the guage or the best way to tap into the dash lights.

Any thoughts/experience, please?

I've an '05 ST hemi so I imagine for power I've could tap into one of the unused fusebox junctions in a pinch. I know some vehicles have auxiliary power taps--does the Ram?

Ideas on a light tap, besides into a parking light wire? I know many new vehicles are essentually all circuit board based, making other options more difficult.
