WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MY TRUCK??
OK. I HAVE HAD MY TRUCK STALL EVERY NOW AND THEN.. NOT SURE WHY, BUT I THOUGHT IT WAS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT... I HAVE JUST INSTALLED MY SUPERCHIP AND NOW IT STALLS MORE OFTEN... NOW I AM A LITTLE WORRIED!! WHEN IM AT A STOP THE TRUCKS IDLE IS A LITTLE ROUGH AND DIES OUT.. THE RPM'S JUMP AROUND FROM 500-700 RPM'S AND IF IT DROPS BELOW 500 RPM'S IT DIES OUT.. I HAVE SET MY SUPERCHIP BACK TO STOCK AND IT HAS GOTTEN A LITTLE BETTER, BUT IT STILL STALLS OUT TIME TO TIME.. ANYONE WITH ANY INFORMATION OR ADVICE ON THIS PROBLEM??? THANX..
I BROUGHT IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY SAID THAT NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH MY TRUCK... I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO... PLEASE HELP..

Have you tried to use the programmer to do a diagnostics on it to see if there is a code, I have the superchips programmer and have had no problems. My truck has always idled between 500 and 700 rpm's and it does fluctuate some but it has never died out on me, I dont think it is your programmer causing you grief.
I'd ask them to hook up a scanner to watch all the functions at the TB. If something is slightly out of spec with the TB calibration, but doesn't throw a code, they should be able to see it on the scanner. A local shop when I was at school did this on my wife's escort when we were having problems with it and decided it was a malfunctioning MAF sensor, even though it wasn't throwing a code. It was perfect ever since. The problem is, that DC is very strict on paying for repairs when there is no obvious problem. If a tech takes 30 minutes out of his day to test for something and finds nothing wrong, I don't think he gets reimbursed for anything by DC.
HEY THANX FOR THE INFO!! NO THE DEALER DID'NT TELL ME ABOUT ANY CODE. THEY REALLY DID'NT TELL ME ANYTHING. ALL THEY SAID IS THAT THEY CHECKED AND LOOKED AT MY TRUCK AND THEY COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT.
THANX FOR THE INFO OSTEODOC. I'M GONNA BRING IT TO A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP AND ASK IF THEY CAN HOOK IT UP TO A SCANNER.

I know that the 4.7l had this issue and needed an update (cant remember the TSB) to keep the idle from dropping below 500rpm - dont know if this would apply to yours or not.
