Default issues with my RAM

I have an '05 RAM 1500 and the rear bumber has surface rust all over it, especially near the ends where water is being slung up from the rear tires. Anyone else having this issue? I haven't spoke to the dealer yet, I'm sure they will resolve the issue but is there something I can use to remove it without scratching the bumper? Also, my truck has 6200 miles on it and the brake system is pulsating something fierce. I'm assuming it's the front rotors, but holy crap, 6200 miles and it feels like the rotors are severely warped. Is this common with these trucks?

Use a good 2 in 1 cleaner wax like Zymol. Even cheapy Nufinish will do the job.

Rail dust. Polish off.

Well , the rust spots are gone thanx to Meguiars Cleaner wax. I made an appointment for the brakes and the service guy said the front rotors probably need turned. While I can't understand why at only 6K miles, I guess he's probably right. Should I let them just turn the rotors or should I make them put new ones on. I'm guessing if they warped at 6k miles they will need turned again @ 12k......after they don't cover them. Since they can only be turned once I'm assuming, I'll have to foot the bill for new ones instead of paying for a turn. What would you guys do? Do I have the right to demand new rotors?

It is hit or miss with what the dealer will do on brakes. I have seen them change the rotors, and I have seen them turn them. Car manufactures try to find the sweet spot between reducing brake noise, reducing excessive wear, and keeping cost down. If they put pads that are too soft, then the brakes wear quickly, and if they put pads that are too hard, then you have squeaking when braking. The biggest complaint comes from pads which emit large amounts of dust, which covers the wheels.

Larger aftermarket rotors and calipers would resolve your issue with warping. When you ride the brakes excessively, the rotors heat up, and warp. Larger rotors will dissipate the heat better, preventing the warping.
