Here is a pic on the front page of our local newspaper here in Daytona Beach, i glanced over at it and I saw it was a Ram 4x4... might be a 2nd Gen but a Ram is a Ram amen?

Definitely a 2nd generation Ram, but a Ram nonetheless. It is a great work vehicle. If DC wasn't undercut by Chevy/Ford, there would be more government paid Rams out there. Miami-Dade county has a bunch of Rams it uses as well.

Where are you from? I'm asking because of the fires on that newspaper clipping. I'm from Amarillo, Tx and if ya'll are having as much trouble with fires as we are, I feel your pain. In and around Amarillo, over 800,000 acres have burned. If you travel down I40 east past Amarillo, you see nothing but black for as far as the eye can see.

Im from Daytona Beach, Florida and I know what your talking about. I remember a few years back it was the same way here, smoke covering the whole sky, highways lined with thousands of acres burnt down to the ground. I remember we were in Orlando eating at a place next to the TD Waterhouse Arena (home of the Orlando Magic) and we got a call from someone saying that my grandma's house needs to be evacuated because the fire is getting close (she lives in Ormond Beach (about 10min drive from daytona on I95)), luckily she was with us at the time, but man it was NOT fun at all...

Just last week, I came outa school @ the UCF campus in Daytona, and smoke covered the entire parking lot, i went over about 5 min drive to the mall and there was a fire blazing just 20ft from the mall parking lot. The sky was completely black, and just opening my door long enough for me to get in, it now smells like I hosted a convention of chain-smokers in my truck[:'(].

Well, theres nothing good when nature comes a raging, for us Floridians, one year is fires, the next hurricanes/massive floods/100mph winds... yay[]

The fires here are just devestating, same as yours. There were thousands of cattle lost due to the fires here. They would be running from the flames and get tangled up by the barbed wire fences and just burn. Because of the 50 mph wind (on one of the days), there wasn't time to cut the fences, the flames just moved too fast. The only thing we could do was shoot the cattle from a distance to save them from suffering. The ones we couldn't see because of the smoke, you could hear screaming. It was a horrible day that I will never forget.
