I was wondering if anyone has tried using this with the high gas prices these days. Would it benefit more with other mods such as CAI and Catback Exhaust.

well there are a lot of conflicting opinions with throttle body spacers. I have one of a different brand in my 4.7 and did notice that when i stomp the gas there is less of a hesitation before taking off. i actually lost .5mpg but thats just because now im driving it alot harder than i really need to. last week my mom had it and i checked the computer to see what gas mileage was when i got it back and it said 15.3. the best mpg ive gotten out of it is 14.0. so it might be because of the throttle body spacer or it could be because my mom drives alot safer than i do. my friend had one with a cai and exhaust and said it made a big difference but so far ive only seen a small one. i can promise you that it does not get the +9 rwhp that it advertises on that page.

 

WORTHLESS!!! Dont waste your money. Throttle body spacers have been DYNO PROVEN to lose HP on 4.7L and 5.7L engines... I have seen it my self. I had spacer on my 2002 4.7L and did NOT feel the power untill l removed it... this is no joke.

Spacers have been proven to work on Carb or TBI engines but NOT multi Port fuel injected engines... they have NO place under your hood.
