Default Hemi Stalling Poll

With all the complaints about the Hemi stalling, I'm trying to devise a poll to see if there are any trends. I have my own opinion of why it happens, but we'll see what the polls say. You can vote for more than one, so if you've had multiple stalls, please mark each one that applies.

Mine has stalled once. That was with A/C off, turning around in the drive way.

Mine stalled one time with the AC on but since I started using 89 octane the problem is gone.

Mine stalls when I come to a stop. It seems the rpms just drop soo far that it just turns off. I was wondering about 89 octane. I was told that I can reprogram the truck for econemy and use the 87. Other than that I was told it wasnt good to use. I put 87 in today because thats all they had at the pump and the truck seems a little slugish.. 32000 miles

If your truck is stalling coming to a stop, listen and see if your front brakes are squeaking. The pcm uses a speed sensor on the left front wheel to monitor speed. Some of these trucks have enough of a brake squeak producing a vibration that is interfering with the speed signal, causing the pcm to close the throttle too much. I know that sounds like a line of bull, but I've already been able to fix a couple of trucks with this repair.

A family member of mine owns a Hemi Ram and loves it. She was backing out of her driveway and stalled, but later discovered it was dry fuel that was to blame so it may not be the engine...

My 03 QC SLT 4.7l stalled multiple times
My 05 QC SLT 5.7l stalled multiple times

My 06 MEGA hasnt stalled yet but does idle rough at times.

Used 89 up to 94 in all.

Coincidentally, I brought the 06 in for its first oil change and was yakkin wiff the Service manager ... we were kicking stuff around and he had mentioned that a factory rep was in and increased the voltage on the O2 sensor on a; I think he said a Jeep, with a hemi. Cleared the rough idle up immediately but knocked the O2 level off where it wouldnt pass inspection. Dont kill the messager

Use 89 oct. I used 87 for 3 months and it stalled plus did $300 worth of damage. I clogged my fuel rail and ruined all 8 spark plugs. I had to get them replaced and flush the rail, but now it will outrun all of those other trucks and gets better gas mileage.
