Default 44 hours and counting!!!!!!!!!

Talked to my dealer. My truck is scheduled to arrive at the dealership about noon tomorrow(Friday). I will pick it up on Saturday afternoon. I can't wait. Having Michelin LTX MS put on and Molded Mud flaps and rear wheel well liner installed before I take it. Only four weeks from order to recieve. My wife is already enjoying my former vehicle, 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan. We are trading her 95 Cutlass Supreme in on the truck. Bring on the HEMI!!!

Soon to be in 44 hours

woo-hoo I have got the truck. I picked it up at 4pm today- Here is my gallery http://dodgetruckworld.tenmagazines.com/WhiteJHawk/

First Impressions:

1. Had the Michelin LTX MS put on. Wow what a difference in ride and traction. We have had a lot of rain today. I only broke loose once on a hard accelleration. Dealer commented on the slight agressive upgrade over the HP's but the ride is amazing. They do look pretty cool in person I don't think the pic do her justice.

2. wheel Well Liner and mud flap were installed. Looked cool

3. On the 40 mile trip home 80% hiway 20% city get 19 miles a gallon average by truck computer. Way cool for a V8 half ton truck. Bring on the gas prices. OK ,maybe not.

4 Since it was raining delaer had the truck siting in the shop. Wow what a site. My wife admited that the truck looked a lot better that she expected. She loves the white, the chrome 20's and the overall look fo the truck. Very cool. FYI as soon as she tried to get in the truck she said "order those nerf bars on ebay tonite". DONE.

5. Only problem was a misaligned door, causing a big roar going down the road.- 5 minute fix by dealer. Now works great

6. Line X with extra installed this coming Tuesday

Other than the rain it was a great day. tomorrow- WAXING in the garage.

Words to the wise. If you have the deluxe molded flaps, put some 3m tape on the part that touches the outside body if you want to keep your paint lookin good. Otherwise they will rub your paint to the primer coat.

You will love the Line-X Xtra. It costs more but it is worth it in the long run.
