NEWBIE alert lowering help
I would like to say first that this is a great site. I have just graduated from a 98 dak cc w/ 5.2L auto to an 02 ram QC 4.7L. I am ahamed to say that I bought it already lowered with BOSS 20's on it but i have no idea how low it is, I was hoping someone could maybe help me. I know the rear has been c-notched w/ a flip kit of course the front looks to have springs and spindles. I think it may be a 4/6 drop, but is there anyway to tell??? All help or criticism accepted graciously.
best I can tell you is to measure from the ground to the wheelwell at the centerline of the tire, then go to a dealership, and measure a stock truck to get the difference.
Someone else may be able to tell you for sure what drop it is, but this would work as well....

Hmmm...[:-] Im not sure, but I would bet if you posted a pick on here, some1 would be able to compare it to other trucks on here with drops and come up with what kind of drop you have... its a shot in the dark, but itll save you a trip to a dealership if we have a pretty good consensus.

Thansk for the help guys. I measured my truck last night, the front is 30" off the ground and the rear is 31 1/4" off the ground. Does anyone have a stock 02 or 03 QC that would measure the heights for me??? any help apreciated.
I figured it out it has a mcgaughys 4-6 drop. measured another truck like suggested and realized which drop it is. I found out last week that it had mcgaughys front spindles on it when i racked it to change the oil. si since it has a flip kit with a c notch i figured it was their 4-6 kit and it is a true 4-6 kit the stocker was 34"in front and 38" in rear so really it was a 6 3/4" drop in the rear. anyway thanks for the info guys.
